The Central Board of Secondary Education is a Board of School Education for Private and Public Schools under the Union Government of India. In India, the First Education Board was Uttar Pradesh Board of High School and Intermediate Education in 1921. The Government of India set up a joint Board as Board of High School and Intermediate Education, Rajputana in 1929. This included Ajmer, Merwara, Central India and Gwalior. Later it was confined to Ajmer, Bhopal and Vindhya Pradesh. The Central Board of Secondary Education was became in 1952. The Central Board of Secondary Education conducts Final Examinations for Class 10th and 12th. The Examination conducted in the Month of February/March and Results release by the end of May.
